It gives you a number, and as quickly as your mind can calculate, put your fingers to work choosing the correct combination of numbers to add up to your Goal. Some are easy, some are challenging, and what I like about it is that it’s not a situation where the easy ones come first and then you progress to more difficult goals. They’re all thrown in there together, so the moment you’ve got your mind working hard to solve a difficult math problem, you’re thrown to a super simple one, but it might take you a second to realize it.

One thing that makes B1nary Game incredibly addictive, is the fact that high scores get published to their website. And on top of that, if you use your @twittername as your username, it will link to your Twitter account.
So, if you have $1.99 to spend (and I’m sure you do, that’s like the price of a freakin soda) be sure to check out B1nary Game. It’s a lot fun. - brodiebeta.com - Brodie Beta (Twitter) reviewed the app and also interviewed me a few days ago about the process of developing the game.
Don’t be scared off by the name, you’re not going to require any knowledge of binary code to understand or kick butt at this. Gameplay is very straight forward and habit forming for competitive people like myself as you can upload and view high scores online on the global list
- ajvaynerchuk.com- AJ Vaynerchuk (Twitter) currently has one of the top scores in Speed Mode!
b1nary game gives you the ability to submit your top scores to an online leaderboard. So instead of competing against yourself, you can compete against anyone who owns b1nary game! On top of that, you can submit your user name as your twitter name, and the leaderboard will link to your twitter account. This feature has cost me hours of my day as I have tried WAY to hard to be a top 5 speed mode player.
- doesthismakesense.org - Josh Kendall (Twitter) - Josh say that even though he doesn’t play iPhone games very often, “Binary Game is just freaking addictive.”
- techburgh.com - Andy Quayle has the latest review in which he finds Binary Game “super addictive.”
Here’s what I think about the Binary Game
Knowing less than nothing about Binary I was a little hesitant about what to expect and how well I’d play the game.
It turns out that the game has little to do with binary and more to do with quick thinking and math. It’s remarkably simple and I’m already kicking myself for not thinking it up.
- justanotheriphoneblog.com (on Twitter) - Patrick Jordan has posted an awesome review of Binary Game.
The newly launched Binary Game for the iPhone is described as a ‘fast paced, highly addictive puzzle game, with very simple and intuitive game play’. The phrase ‘highly addictive’ is probably one of the most over-used in the App Store - but I have to say, in this case it is spot-on accurate, as is the rest of that short description.
- edumacnation.com - A great review and excellent tutorial on exactly how to play the game!
So overall my initial impressions of this game are very positive. I highly recommend this game. I commend the developer on a job well done and I hope that I can improve my score and climb up the leaderboard. In the short time that the game has been out there have been some very high scores. I am interested to learn about some of their strategies!
- socialwayne.com - Wayne Sutton (follow Wayne on Twitter) has a great video review of Binary Game!
